Program Overview Structure and implementation The EuroPana Program is implemented through the consortium of Caritas Switzerland (CACH) and Caritas Germany (DCV), organizations that have worked together to respond to the migration crisis that the region is experiencing within the framework of integral human development and the construction of sustainable peace. This consortium is being developed with the European Commissions Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) to address the migratory situation that arises in several countries in the region. Requirements and commitments by those interested in participating in the call. Both individuals and work teams, it is requested that they comply with the professional training, experience, skills, competencies, general and specific obligations of the position, as indicated below: Professional training and experience Professional in Statistics, Economic, Social, Engineering, Administrative Sciences or related to the development of the position. Technical capacity and demonstrable experience in conducting humanitarian sector needs assessments and protection risk analysis, especially in the design, use of information processing and visualization tools. Experience in formulating proposals, writing reports and evaluations of humanitarian and ECHO-funded projects is desirable. Familiarity with the humanitarian system, SPHERE and experience in sectoral data management (ideally in protection, food security, nutrition, WASH, shelter). Excellent analytical and evaluation skills and research methodologies, including understanding of sampling frames and analysis of large data sets. Excellent communication and report writing skills with experience in high-level presentations. Ability to multitask with tight deadlines in a complex environment. Have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrable experience in the requirements described above. Specific knowledge Extensive knowledge of human rights, international humanitarian law, humanitarian aid and comprehensive protection. In-depth knowledge of the contexts of humanitarian crisis due to mixed migratory flows, internal armed conflict and risk of natural disasters. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Desirable in Geographic Information Systems and equivalent statistical software (QGIS, STRATA, Python). Skills in the management of quantitative data collection programs (Kobo Toolbox). Skills in the management of specialized programs in qualitative data systematization (Atlas.TI, DELVE or other similar program). Data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau). Respect for cultural diversity and religious beliefs. Not have family ties or direct relationship with the staff of the main or local partners. Prepare the maps that support the analysis based on the primary information collected. Propose adjustments to existing tools and design new tools that can improve the research, collection, systematization and visualization of data within the framework of analysis. Be available to provide technical support within the framework of the analysis of the humanitarian and protection situation of the EuroPana Program, as required. Deliverables Detailed work plan, including the methodology for filtering and systematizing the information, the preparation of dashboards and maps; as well as the schedule with weekly milestones and intermediate deliverables that covers the other activities described.
