Expression of Interest for End of Project Evaluation of the Ghana Warehouse Receipts System Project In Ghana, SMEs face major challenges accessing finance, especially due to lack of collateral. The Warehouse Receipt System (WRS) allows farmers to use certified receipts for stored commodities as collateral for loans, improving income and market transparency. The IFC is aiding Ghanas government to implement a regulated WRS, supporting legal reforms, digitizing receipts, advising on operations, and training stakeholders. The end-of-project evaluation will assess project performance, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. It covers all activities, regions, beneficiaries, and partnerships, and aims to inform future WRS program design and policy, with access to comprehensive project documentation.
