Government Services – Concept Development For The Implementation Of European Pollinator Monitoring (Eupoms) In Germany. The Eu Restoration Regulation (W-Vo) Requires Pollinator Monitoring To Be Carried Out. The First Reporting Cycle Covers 4 Years, The Following 6 Years, The First Reporting Year Is 2030. With The 1St Delegated Act (1St Da), The Com Specifies A Concrete Concept With Uniform Methods That Must Be Implemented By The Member States. The Aim Is To Ensure That The Data Collected Can Be Compared And Evaluated At Eu Level. The Aim Of This Project Is To Develop An Implementation Concept For Germany. Pollinator Monitoring Should, If Possible, Be Integrated Into Nationwide Insect Monitoring (Im). The Basis For The German Implementation Concept Are The Delegated Legal Acts That The European Commission (Com) Issues And Which Contain The Methodology For Implementing Article 10 Of The W-Vo. The Publication Of The 1St Da Establishing The Science-Based Method For Monitoring Pollinator Diversity And Pollinator Populations Is Expected In Autumn 2025. The Technical Basis For The 1St Da Is The Concept For Eu Pollinator Monitoring Developed On Behalf Of The Com (Potts Et Al. 2024, Potts Et Al. 2021). The 1St Da Formulates The Methodological Specifications For Pollinator Monitoring. These Specifications Should Be Translated Into An Operational Implementation Concept And The Content, Structural And Organizational Requirements For Pollinator Monitoring Should Be Worked Out In Detail. In The 1St Da, The Rules For Selecting The Sample Areas To Be Monitored Are Formulated. It Specifies The Groups Of Animals To Be Recorded And The Methodology With Which These Taxa Will Be Observed. Accordingly, The Project Includes The Following Goals: I) Development And Definition Of The Sample Set To Be Sampled In Accordance With The Specifications Of The 1St Da, Ii) Implementation-Ready Development Of The Recording Methodology For All Modules That Are Required And Described In The 1St Da, And Iii) Development Of A Specialist It Concept For The Modules Designed Here.
