Tenders are invited for Hiring a Recruitment Consultant Location: Kigali Deadline: Sunday, 02/11/2025 18:00 TENDER NOTICE: CONSULTANCY OPENING TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR HIRING A RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT 1. BACKGROUND CO-CPPAR (Coopérative des Commerçants Professionnels des Produits Agricoles au Rwanda) which has been established since 2007 in Rwanda. The Head office is located in GASABO District, NDERA Sector. 2. REPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT In order to achieve its financial, strategic and managerial objectives, CO-CPPAR is looking for an experienced Recruitment consultant to assist the management in the recruitment and on boarding of the JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT on behalf of the cooperative. The duties of the JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT will be as follow: Bookkeeping of financial records into accounting system Prepare and organize accounting documents and vouchers Apply internal systems for obtaining purchase approvals and use of assets ensuring the adequate application of internal controls Maintain bank accounts and make bank reconciliations Prepare, organize monthly expenditures and follow-up on payments to suppliers Ensure timely submission of statutory payments (PAYE, RSSB, etc....) Provide advice and support to the Coordinator of Finance & Administration on all human resources, finance matters, including procurement and logistics issues. Contracts Management and overall administration of the cooperative Other official tasks as requested by the supervisors or Management the supervisor 3. SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE CONSULTANT The successful consultant will undertake the following activities on behalf of the cooperative: Reception of all CVs of the applicants Review and profiling of the candidates, following agreed criteria (requirements) Preparation and supervision of the written exams for the selected candidates Conduct oral interviews for successful candidates Publication of candidates combined exams results Conduct background checks for successful candidates Confirmation of the successful candidate Submission of Recruitment report to the management of cooperative 4. CONSULTANT PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY REQUIREMENTS The recruitment Consultant will provide sound recruitment of new Junior Accountant on behalf of the cooperative and will direct the management in sound business decisions-making in the areas related to the Human Resources Management. The desired Consultant is expected to fulfill below key requirements: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, Accounting or Cooperatives management; Minimum 3 years of experience in Consultancy, Recruitment Services provision, Financial advisory or Management of Cooperatives; Having completed CPA/CFA/CMA or ACCA intermediate level (part2) is an additional value; Post graduate studies (certificates) in Human Resources will be an added advantage; Proven experience in the use of Accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAGE; Conversant with MS office, especially Google docs and Advanced Excel; Attention to details and committed to deadlines; Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal; Excellent command of English and Kinyarwanda (Knowledge of French is an advantage) 5.
