Task 2: Define Scope, Categorization Of Activities And Priorities For Engagment In Rice And Dairy Sector: Prioritize Activities To Be Targeted Based On The Prevalence Of The Respective Activities In India With Market Readiness, Its Potential In Increasing FarmerS Income/Productivity, Adaptation And Resilience Benefits, Emission Reductions In The Dairy And Rice Sector And Estimated Generation Of Carbon Credits For Types Of Projects Based On Existing Project Data. Task 3: Develop Technical Screening Criteria And Outcome Metrics For Results-Based Lending: Develop Technical Screening Criteria And Indicators For Use By Nabard And Commercial Banks For Financing Respective Activity Types In Dairy And Rice To Be Tagged As A Green Investment. Task 4: Develop Mrv Framework, Processes And Requirements And Implementation Plan That Can Be Adopted By Commercial Banks. Compile Technical Guidance On Mrv Systems For Rice And Dairy Sector Investments Based On International Best Practices. Recommend Design Parameters And Implementation Steps, In Consultation With Nabard And Commercial Banks, Of Mrv System That Allows Nabard And Commercial Banks To Estimate, Monitor And Verify The Impacts Of Emission Reductions As Well As Other Sustainable Development Benefits Of Each Activity Types And Develop Mrv Implementation Plan (Timing, Cost, Requirements, Etc.) At The Project Level; And At The Portfolio Level Including Templates And Guidance Notes That Can Accompany Loans For Adoption Of Climate Smart Practices.
