Work Detail
Construction Work For Water Projects – Flow Improvement Halfweg Lock Complex (Dig-17694). The Assignment, Which Consists Of Two Specifications, Will Be Carried Out In Halfweg And Broadly Includes The Following Activities: Part A: Realization Of Passage (Raw System) A. Installation Of Passage Construction In The Eastern Island; B. Removing Bridges Over The East And West Locks; C. Installing Bridges Over The East And West Locks; D. Redesigning The Slow Traffic Connection And The Ground Level. Part B: Restoration (Stabu System) E. Restoration Vm. Halfweg Lock Complex. In This Tender, Parts A And B Have Been Clustered Into One Assignment. The Civil Work And The Renovation Work Are Inextricably Linked By A Number Of Physical Interfaces, Which Can Best Be Controlled By One Executing Party. In Addition, This Integrated Approach Limits The Amount Of Transaction Costs. There Are Sufficient Parties In The Market That Can Carry Out The Requested Work. General The Former Lock Complex Of Halfweg Was Built In The 16Th Century (Westsluis Was Built In 1558, Middelsluis 1583 And Oostsluis 1566). After The Construction Of The Halfweg Pumping Station, The Function Of The Halfweg Steam Pumping Station Ceased To Exist And The Halfweg Locks No Longer Have A Water Management Function. The Vm. The Lock Complex Has A Monumental Status, Which Means That Demolition Is Not Possible. Based On Its Lifespan Of More Than 400 Years, The Lock Object Would Have To Be Demolished. The Current Lock Openings Are A Bottleneck In The Water Supply To The Halfweg Pumping Station (Current Gradient Of The Lock Complex Approx. 6 Cm Instead Of The Desired 1 Cm) And The Widening Of The Flow Profile, Together With The Work For Cosmetic Renovation Of The Locks, Is Part Of A Major Project. The Halfweg Pumping Station Has Been In Use For More Than 40 Years, But In Terms Of Operational Management The Situation Has Deteriorated Due To The Vm. Halfway Lock Complex Not Optimal. With Prolonged Use Of The Pumping Station, The Filling Point Of The Augers Is Reached And Rijnland Is Forced To Turn Them Off. The Part Between The Monumental (Municipal) Vm. The Halfweg Lock Complex And The Pumping Station Function As A Kind Of Bathtub, Causing The Screws To Rotate With Less Efficiency When They Reach The Filling Point. If More Drainage Capacity Is Required In The Course Of This Century (21St), This Obstacle Will Play A Greater Role. By Increasing The Flow Profile Over The (Former) Lock Complex In Halfweg, A Constant Supply Of Storage Water From The Ringvaart Is Guaranteed, So That The Screws Can Permanently Drain 33.3 M3/S. Construction Team Phase Prior To This Tender, Rijnland Completed The First Phase Of A Construction Team With A Contractor. However, This Did Not Lead To The Final Award Of The Realization Phase. For This Reason, The Realization Phase Is Now Being Tendered Separately. In The First Phase Of The Construction Team, The Preliminary Design Was Further Developed Into A Feasible Final Design And A Uav-2012 B
