Expression of Interest are invited for Support to Mexicos Industrial Decarbonization Program under the Climate Investment Fund The objective of the consultancy is to support the Government of Mexico, and the MDBs in coordinating and preparing Mexicos IP under the CIF-IDP, ensuring that the document reflects a strategic, integrated, innovative and transformative vision for the decarbonization of the national industry. To ensure the successful development of the IP, the consultant should align with Mexicos strategic priorities and the CIF criteria and ensure that the process emphasizes profitability and the scalability of concessional resources provided by CIF. This collaborative approach will help guarantee that the IP is both transformative and financially sustainable, while fully supporting Mexicos long-term decarbonization goals. The consulting firm is expected to report and deploy all efforts in agreement with the coordinating MDBs, and work in close collaboration with the participating MDBs, the assigned focal points of the Government, and key stakeholders in the industrial sector, promoting a participatory and transparent process for the development of the IP.
