Tenders are invited for Brand Identity & Marketing Assets Palestine Technopark is launching "Urban Up: Municipal Innovation Incubator," a flagship 12-month program designed to transform Palestinian cities by nurturing local technological solutions. The program bridges the gap between civic tech entrepreneurs and municipal governments, taking promising ideas from concept to fully deployed, scalable solutions that address critical urban challenges. The program provides a structured pathway through four core phases: Explore, Define, Build, and Implement, culminating in seed funding and direct support for municipal deployment for the top five teams. To ensure the success and widespread impact of this initiative, a powerful, coherent, and compelling brand identity and marketing strategy is essential to attract the highest caliber of applicants, secure key partnerships, and establish Urban Up as a leading force in smart city development in Palestine. 2. Project Objectives: The overarching goal of this project is to create a powerful, cohesive, and compelling brand identity and marketing campaign for Urban Up that will: Establish Brand Authority: Position Urban Up as the leading municipal innovation incubator in Palestine. Drive High-Quality Applications: Attract a robust pipeline of talented tech entrepreneurs and startups to apply for the program. Engage Municipal Partners: Solidify and expand the network of municipal partners committed to testing and implementing solutions. Build Ecosystem Awareness: Generate excitement and buy-in from the broader tech ecosystem, academia, and the public. Showcase Impact: Document and communicate the journey and success of the participating teams to stakeholders and potential investors. 3. Target Audiences The branding and marketing efforts must distinctly resonate with the following primary audiences: Technology Innovators: Early-stage startups, student entrepreneurs, software developers, hardware engineers, and data scientists. Municipal Partners: Mayors, city managers, IT directors, and technical staff in Palestinian municipalities. The Tech & Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: Incubators, accelerators, investors, mentors, and domain experts. Citizens & Community: The general public and end-users who will benefit from the implemented smart city solutions. 2. Scope of Work Note on Content Provision: Palestine Technopark will be responsible for supplying all written content, key messages, core content plans, and logistical information for all tasks outlined below. The service providers role is to transform this content into high-impact visual, audio, and digital formats and to execute the distribution strategy. Phase Task Service Provider Requirements & Actions Key Deliverables Phase 1: Pre-Incubation 1.1 Brand Identity Development Translate the programs vision into a compelling visual identity. Create a logo, select a color palette & typography, and define a visual language for photography/graphics. Complete Brand Guideline (PDF) Logo in multiple formats Brand asset library (icons, patterns) 1.2 Launch Video & Campaign Produce short, high-energy animated or live-action videos based on scripts and key messages from Technopark. 1-2 animated explainer/video ads (60-90 sec) A suite of 15 social media graphics designs 1.3 Email Campaign Setup Design and code visually appealing, brand-consistent email templates. branded email templates (HTML) Phase 2: Incubation (Explore & Define) 2.1 Participant Announcement Create a visually engaging graphic and short video to creatively introduce the 15 selected teams, using team bios and photos from Technopark. 1 announcement video (60 sec) Social media graphic 15 designs. 2.2 "The Journey" Video Series Film, edit, and produce short documentary-style videos during key program activities (e.g., Municipal workshops), following a content plan from Technopark. 1 documentary video (2-3 min each) 2.3 Event Graphics Design all digital and print-ready assets for Phase 1 Showcase and Phase 2 Demo Day events. Digital invitations Presentation templates Social media assets Phase 3: Incubation (Build & Seed) 3.1 Finale Promotional Video Produce a high-quality, dynamic video profiling the top finalist teams and their solutions, based on interviews and footage coordinated by Technopark. 1 high-energy promo video (1-2 min) 3.2 Selection Event Kit Design the complete visual identity for the Final Demo Day and Winner Announcement. Event branding Require : 15 design different sizes Phase 4: Implementation & Growth 4.1 Impact Case Study Videos Film, edit, and produce an in-depth case study video featuring one of the winning teams during municipal implementation, based on a production plan from Technopark. 1 case study video (1-2 min) 4.2 Graduation & Showcase Kit Design all assets for the programs concluding graduation ceremony and public showcase. Event branding kit Require : 15 design different sizes 4. Service Provider Qualifications The ideal service provider (agency or individual) will demonstrate: Exceptional Visual Design Skills: A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in logo design, typography, layout, and creating cohesive visual systems. Bilingual Design Expertise: Proven ability to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs that incorporate both Arabic and English seamlessly. This is a critical requirement. Efficiency & Collaboration: The ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, taking provided content and translating it into high-quality visual assets with minimal need for revision. They must be a collaborative executor, not a strategic creator. Understanding of the Context: A feel for the Palestinian innovation and municipal landscape is a plus, ensuring the design resonates with the target audiences. 5. Proposal & Financials Service providers are requested to submit a proposal that includes the following: A. Technical Proposal: Understanding of the project and its objectives. Proposed creative approach and methodology. Portfolio of relevant past work, specifically highlighting bilingual (Arabic/English) projects. CVs of the proposed team members, including the designated Account Manager. A detailed work plan and project timeline. B. Financial Proposal: The financial proposal must be structured based on the required tasks duration of the 12-month program, reflecting the phased delivery of assets as outlined in the requirements table. Please provide a clear breakdown that includes: Total Project Value: The overall cost for all deliverables. Payment Schedule: Link payments to key milestones/deliverables Detailed Cost Breakdown based on each required item, based on the table above The prices offered must be exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). 6.
