Work Detail

Request for proposals for AR Vehicle Simulators and Training Closing Date: 12 Nov 2025 Type: Consultancy About the Proposal Vanuatu continues to face critical skills shortages in key sectors such as construction, engineering, and technical trades. Training providers, especially in rural and remote areas, often lack access to safe, affordable, and scalable training resources for real-world equipment operations. To address these constraints, Pacific Australia Skills propose the acquisition and deployment of simulation-based training technology Augmented Reality (AR) vehicle simulator. AR vehicle technology provides a next-generation, cost-effective and sustainable solution for technical high-fidelity vehicle training across multiple sectors. These investments would support national skills development by enabling inclusive, climate-conscious, and mobile training solutions that are adaptable across various priority sectors. Project Objectives Expand access to modern, mobile training tools across Vanuatu. Build sectoral capacity in construction, logistics, agriculture, emergency response, public safety and vehicle training. Improve labour mobility preparedness by allowing participants to gain experience on commonly used machinery such as tractors and forklifts prior to mobilising. Develop local capacity through the delivery of a tailored Train the Trainer program. Enable inclusive training access across remote provinces via portable systems.
