Urban Planning And Landscape Architectural Services – Update Of The Landscape Framework Plan For The City Of Braunschweig. The Landscape Framework Plan (Lrp) Is The Central Expert Report For Nature Conservation At The Regional Level. In Addition To The Goal-Oriented Recording And Evaluation Of The Current State Of Nature And Landscape, Its Task Is Primarily A. In The Naming And Spatial Specification Of Nature Conservation And Land Management Goals. The Central Building Block Of The Lrp Is The Target Concept, In Which The Measures Required To Achieve The Goals Must Be Presented And Justified In An Expert Opinion. According To § 10 Bnatschg I. In Accordance With Section 3 Nnatschg, There Is A Legal Obligation To Draw Up And Update Landscape Framework Plans. Responsibility For The City Of Braunschweig Lies With The Nature Conservation Office In Its Function As A Lower Nature Conservation Authority. The Lrp Currently Valid For The City Of Braunschweig Dates From 1999 (City Of Braunschweig 1999). The Data On Which It Is Based Comes From The Years 1995 To 1997 And Can Be Viewed As Outdated From Todays Perspective. Between 2008 And 2014, The Protected Area “Animals And Plants” Was Partially Updated For Areas Outside The Core City. Furthermore, As Part Of This Partial Update, A Biotope Network Concept Was Developed. There Has Been No Update For The Protected Areas Of Soil, Water, Climate, Air And Landscape Since 1999. The Update Of The Lrp For The City Of Braunschweig Is Particularly Necessary For The Following Reasons:  Content And Formal Adaptation To The Specifications According To Paterak Et Al. (2001); Consideration Of Common Method Applications  Evaluation And Collection Of Current Protected Property Data  Consideration / Discussion Of The Conceptual Basis And Specifications Of Other Programs (Landscape Program, Lower Saxony Species And Biotope Protection Programs) As Well As The Goals And Principles Of Spatial Planning  Updating The Biotope Network At Regional Level  Thematic Discussion Of Climate Protection Goals  Development Of A Target Concept / Implementation Of The Target Concept  Development Of Proposals For Integrating The Target Concept Into Spatial Planning
