Background Michel Daher Social Foundation (MDSF) is implementing an Adolescent and Youth Development Program (My skills, My future.) to deliver vocational Competency-Based Training (CBT) to marginalized youth. This initiative directly targets 160 highly vulnerable youth aged 1824, both Lebanese and non-Lebanese, with a specific focus on those who are out of school and unable to return to formal education. The project utilizes a structured pathway of engagement, training, and employment transition aimed at facilitating long-term economic inclusion. 2. Objective The objective of this assignment is to design and deliver a structured series of four (4) career guidance sessions (1session/group and 4h/session for 4 groups of 40 participants each) aimed at supporting vulnerable youth (Lebanese and refugees aged 1824) to make informed decisions about their learning and professional pathways within the Programme. 3. Scope of Work The selected Career Guidance Provider will be responsible for designing and delivering four (4) career guidance sessions one session per group aimed at supporting vulnerable youth to make informed decisions about their professional and learning pathways within the Programme. Key responsibilities include: The Service provider might be requested to attend a TOT session delivered by the project partners along with the project team members to align the curriculum with Unicef guidelines. Curriculum Development Develop a structured session plan for four (4) career guidance sessions (1 day each), adapted to the needs of youth aged 1824 from both Lebanese and refugee backgrounds. Ensure sessions are participatory and age-appropriate, integrating key topics such as: Self-awareness and career interest exploration Understanding vocational pathways (YBLN, CBT, Advanced Training, WBL, C4W, and entrepreneurship options) Labour market orientation and job readiness based on conducted market assessment Goal setting and action planning Integrate cross-cutting themes including gender sensitivity, inclusion, environmental responsibility, and workplace ethics. Session Delivery Deliver four (4) interactive group sessions using participatory methodologies that include individual or small-group guidance, when relevant, to help participants identify their preferred skilling and career tracks. Coordinate with the project team to ensure youth are referred to the appropriate training based on their interests and assessment results. Assessment & Documentation Conduct pre- and post-session assessments or self-reflection tools to measure improvement in youth career awareness and readiness. Document participant progress, observations, and key outcomes from each session. Reporting & Coordination Submit brief reports summarizing session content, attendance, participant feedback, and key challenges or recommendations. Coordinate regularly with the project team to align with the programme objectives and timelines. Participate in coordination or review meetings when required 4. Deliverables The Career Guidance Provider is expected to deliver the following: Detailed session plan and guidance materials (presentations, handouts, etc.). Pre- and post-session assessment results or summaries. Session reports highlighting participant engagement, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement. Final summary report covering all four sessions, lessons learned, and recommendations for future implementation. 5. Duration of Assignment Total Duration: Four (4) sessions (4h each) - one session per group (1 day each). Implementation Period: 4 separate days during December 2025 (Exact dates to be planned on a later stage) 6. Qualifications The selected provider or consultant must meet the following qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in psychology, education, social sciences, human resources, or a related field. Minimum 35 years of experience in career guidance, youth counseling, employability programs covering TVET. Proven experience facilitating sessions for vulnerable and marginalized youth. Strong understanding of the Lebanese labour market, vocational training pathways, and employment trends. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with UNICEF or other international development projects is an asset. 7. Location Ferzol, Zahle, Bekaa (Michel Daher Social Foundation building). 8. Reporting and supervision The trainer/service provider will report and keep close coordination with the Project Manager at MDSF. Coordination and scheduling support will be provided by MDSF staff 9. Payment Terms Payment will be made via bank transfer or Telegraphic Transfer (TT): 100% upon completion of the 4-days training and submission of the final report Note: Without a valid MOF certificate, a 3.4% tax on goods and 8.5% on services will apply. MDSF reserves the right to withhold final payment if deliverables are incomplete or not in line with agreed quality standards 10. Evaluation of Proposals Proposals will be evaluated based on: 1. Technical proposal (30%) 2. Financial proposal (35%) 3. Experience in career guidance training (25%) 4. Availability and alignment with proposed schedule (10%) 15. Penalties for Delay A penalty of 1% of the total contract value per day of delay shall apply for late delivery or failure to perform within the agreed schedule, up to a maximum of 10% of the total contract value.
