This Is A Request For Information To Map And Identify The Suppliers Of The Plagiarism Detection System. Aalto University Is Mapping Plagiarism Detection System (Later System) Suppliers Whose System Meets At Least The Following Characteristics Important To Aalto University: Technical Characteristics:- The Plagiarism Detection System Must Meet The Data Protection Requirements Set By The Gdpr (General Data Protection Regulation).- Used In The System Data And Logs Are Located In The Eu Region.- The System Must Comply With Accessibility Standards (Wcag 2.1)- The System Must Be Able To Be Integrated Into The Moodle Platform, Through Which The System Receives User Data Automatically. In Addition, A Student Or Teacher Can Access The Moodle Platform Without A Separate Login To The System. The System Must Support Shibboleth Identification.- The System Must Be Able To Handle Large Amounts Of Document Returns: 400 Returns Per Minute And 50,000 Returns Per Year.- The System Must Be Fully Ready For The Customer To Use And The Supplier Must Be Able To Provide Technical And Operational Support For The System. Functional Characteristics:- The Main User Of The System Must Be Able To Receive Reports Related To The Use Of The System Directly From The System (Such As The Number Of Users).- The Comparison Archive Is Extensive. It Should Contain A Wide Range Of Sources From Different Research Areas And It Should Contain Not Only Materials In English But Also At Least Materials In Finnish And Swedish.- The System Should Automatically Create A Report On Plagiarism Detection When The Student Returns His Work. The Report Must Include The Proportion Of Found Similar Text In Relation To The Entire Text, Show Which Texts Are Similar, List And Show The Original Sources Where The Similar Texts Are From, And Tell About Other Possible Attempts At Plagiarism. The Report Must Be Available To The Student And The Teacher No Later Than 24 Hours After The Return. - The System Must Reveal And Report Attempts At Plagiarism In At Least The Following Situations: Similar Text, Combining Words, Text Colors Different From The Main Text, Cyrillic Or Greek Letters. - The System Compares The Text With The Material Of The Reference Archive And With The Texts Returned By Other Course Participants. - Through The System, It Is Possible To Give Feedback To The Students Output And Give It A Grade So That It Is Automatically Transferred To The Moodle Evaluation System. The Student Must Be Able To See His Personal Feedback In The System.- The System Recognizes Text Produced By Artificial Intelligence, At Least In English, Finnish And Swedish.
