The City Of Herzogenrath Is Planning To Extensively Renovate And Expand The Maria-Sibylla-Merian Comprehensive School At Pestalozzistrasse 39 (Kohlscheid District, Corridor 8, Parcel 3280 And Corridor 10, Parcel 1383; See Appendix 1). The Old Mining Situation Is A Demanding Boundary Condition. This Requires Exploration And Possibly Also Security Work, As There Are Several Hard Coal Seams On The Upper Edge Of The Carbon In The Property Area, Which Are At Least Partially Assigned To Impact Classes 1 And 2 And Were Therefore Most Likely Mined During The Day. In Order To Increase The School Capacity, An Extension Is Now To Be Built On The Existing School Building. For This Purpose, Exploratory Drilling Must Be Carried Out To Determine Whether The Remains Of This Old Mining Industry Are Relevant To The Construction Project. For This Purpose, Exploratory Drillings Are Advertised As Full Crown Drillings (Part A). Only After The Exploration Results Are Available Will A Decision Be Made About The Further Course Of Action And Any Necessary Security Measures. If Backfilling Is Necessary, This Should Be Done Without Pressure Or By Injection (Low And High Pressure), Depending On The Situation Encountered (Part B).
