Work Detail
Underground Work Other Than Tunnels, Shafts And Subways – Mühlenviertel District Heating Network In Herten | District Heating Network Expansion. Hertener Stadtwerke Gmbh Has Been Operating The District Heating Supply In Herten Since 1962 And Currently Supplies Its Customers With Heat From Over 2,400 House Connections. With The Herten Climate Concept 2020+ And The 100% Climate Protection Master Plan For The City Of Herten, The Hsw Has Committed Itself To Ambitious Climate Protection Goals. By 2050, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Are Expected To Fall By 95% And Final Energy Consumption By 50% Compared To 1990. The Backbone Of The Change Strategy Is District Heating. The Aim Is To Expand The Proportion Of Pipe-Based Heat Supply From Renewable Energies. For This Purpose, The Master Plan Identifies Areas For The Expansion And Consolidation Of Existing District Heating Supplies And The Development Of Local Heating Islands. The Mühlenviertel In Herten Langenbochum Is One Of These Potential Areas For Converting The Pipeline Infrastructure From Pure Natural Gas Supply To Efficient Pipe-Based Heat Supply With Renewable Energies. The Mühlenviertel Is A Settlement From The 1970S With A Predominantly Homogeneous Building Structure. There Are Repeating Building Types Of One Construction Age, Consisting Of Single-Family And Small Multi-Family Houses. The Single-Family Homes Are Single-Story, Detached Bungalows And Semi-Detached Houses As Well As Two-Story Terraced Houses. The Apartment Buildings Have Three To Four Floors. Around 1,200 People Live In The Mühlenviertel. The Building Structures Are Predominantly Compact With Simple Facade And Flat Roof Constructions. A Typical Recurring Urban Development Element Is The Residential Courtyard-Like Arrangement Around Small Squares As Central Open Space Elements. Due To The Homogeneous Urban Structure And Building Structure, The District Has High Potential For Transferable And Recurring Heat Supply Solutions. The Mühlenviertel Is Currently Only Connected Via The Natural Gas Network Of Hertener Stadtwerke Gmbh. The Existing Natural Gas Infrastructure Must Be Fundamentally Renovated In The Foreseeable Future. The Switch To Piped Heat Supply Would Therefore Be Carried Out As Part Of The Renovation Cycles That Are Already Underway. The Total Heat Consumption Of The Approximately 1,200 Residents Is Around 11 Gigawatt Hours Per Year. The Mühlenviertel Is Supplied By The Uniper Main Line, Which Runs Near The Mühlenviertel. The Expansion Of The Mühlenviertel Is To Be Carried Out In Seven Construction Phases. Part Of This Tender Is Construction Phase 1, Mühlenstrasse South. The Subject Of This Process Is The First Construction Phase With The Following Parameters: - Kmr Dn 250/400: Route Length Approx. 1,100 M - Branch Lines In Side Streets Nominal Width Dn100 And Smaller: Route Length Approx. 50 M - House Connection Lines The Planned Route Is Described As Follows: The Existing Uniper Transport Line Crosses The Schlagel And Eisen Straße On The Former Railway Embankment.
