Tenders are invited for BMZ Feasibility-Study Consultant Eligibility The consultant, whether an individual or a firm, must possess the necessary technical expertise and contextual knowledge to ensure the study meets BMZs demanding requirements for project planning. o Education: A bachelors degree in Business Management, Economic Development, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is required. A masters level degree is a significant advantage. o Expertise in Development and Enterprise: Proven expertise and experience in conducting feasibility studies, project evaluations, or relevant research for development projects, specifically those focused on community economic development, livelihood diversification, and social enterprise models. o Donor Compliance: Knowledge and expertise in applying the expanded OECD DAC evaluation criteria (relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability) is mandatory. Prior experience with the BMZ project cycle and reporting mechanisms is highly preferred. o Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and skills in designing rigorous quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, strong analytical capabilities, and technical report writing proficiency. o Contextual Knowledge: Knowledge and experience related to ageing topics, social protection systems, and the socio-economic context of Cambodia or Southeast Asia is an added advantage. o Language: Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills in English are mandatory.
