Tenders are invited for Long Term Agreement for Supplying Sodium Chlorite and Hydrochloric Acid Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: Bapco Refining is looking for establishing a long term contract for supplying Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2) and Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) for operating its salt water biofouling Plant. Chlorine dioxide is generated by reacting foresaid chemicals to generate Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) in submerged reactor. ClO2 is used to treat the sea water to mitigate biological fouling and corrosion in the downstream equipment. Annual consumption of the chemicals are expected to be 2,140 MT each. The quality of the chemicals to be supplied and packaging shall be complaint to the specifications provided in the RFP.
