Request for proposals for Development of Training of Trainers (TOT) program on CWIS for BORDA Southeast Asia Scope of Work The consultant/expert will undertake the following tasks: Research and Content Development: Review existing resources on CWIS, decentralized wastewater treatment, and sponge city approaches. Develop content that integrates technical (e.g., engineering solutions for wastewater management) and social (e.g., community engagement, equity, and inclusion) aspects, ensuring relevance to urban contexts in Cambodia and broader Asia. Material Design: Create training materials in English, including: o PowerPoint (PPT) presentations with clear, visually engaging slides, speaker notes, and interactive elements suitable for virtual/in-person delivery. o A detailed Trainer Manual outlining session plans, learning objectives, methodologies (e.g., lectures, group discussions, case studies, practical exercises), facilitation tips, and adaptation guidelines for virtual vs. in-person formats. o Training Evaluation Forms to assess participant satisfaction, knowledge gain, and program effectiveness (e.g., pre/post-training surveys, feedback forms). o A Final Quiz for participants to evaluate learning outcomes, with answer keys and scoring guidelines. Customization for Audiences: Ensure materials address the dual strengths of the NGO partners (technical and social) and enable them to train multi-stakeholder groups, including government technical departments. Virtual ToT Delivery: Plan and conduct virtual training sessions for the two Cambodian NGOs. This includes: o Scheduling and facilitating interactive online sessions (e.g., via Zoom or similar platforms). o Incorporating practical exercises, role-playing, and Q&A to build facilitation skills. o Providing post-training support, such as follow-up resources or coaching sessions. Adaptability and Scalability: Design the program to be easily adapted for regional use, including considerations for cultural/contextual variations in Asia. Quality Assurance: Incorporate best practices in adult learning, inclusivity (e.g., gender-sensitive approaches), and sustainability. The assignment does not include in-person travel or logistics for future trainings by the NGOs. Timeline The service duration will be Sixty (60) days. Period of assignment: November 1 - December 31, 2025. 7.
