The Dortmund Economic Development Agency Is Implementing Various Projects That Strengthen The Circular Economy As Part Of The “Dortmund 2030: Circular And Public Interest-Oriented Economy” (Dozirkulär2030) Project, Which Is Funded By The Federal Ministry For Economic Affairs And Climate Protection (Bmwk). One Of These Projects Is The “Industrial Symbiosis Through Ai” Project. The Aim Of This Project Is To Optimize The Use Of Waste And By-Products In The Regional Value Chains, To Create New Business Areas And Strengthen Existing Ones And To Ensure A Link Between Users Using An Ai (Artificial Intelligence) Based Tool And To Identify And Build Two New Circular Value Chains. The Entire Process Should Be Carried Out By A Service Provider, Including The Development Of Business Models, The Coordination Of Participants And Supply Chains, And The Development Of Technical-Economic Assessments Of The Priority Opportunities.
