Tenders are invited for LISA Latch Valves Procurement The Latch Valve is a bi-stable, electrically actuated, high pressure latch valve that does not require electrical input to maintain the commanded open or closed position. Permanent magnets within the valve maintain position. Propellant flow is allowed when in the open position and the valve provides a leak tight seal in the closed position. There are two coils, one for opening and one for closing. High pressure with up to 310 bar MEOP and low pressure with 2 bar MEOP variants of the latch valve are required. The latch valve shall provide the following two functions: · High pressure propellant isolation against leakage (Nitrogen and Xenon) upstream of mechanical pressure regulator; · Low pressure propellant isolation against leakage (Nitrogen and Xenon) downstream of mechanical pressure regulator. High flow and low-flow variants at the different input pressure are required: · High Flow (up to 410 mg/s of Nitrogen), High Pressure (up to 310 bar MEOP); · High Flow (up to 410 mg/s of Nitrogen), Low Pressure (up to 2 bar MEOP); · Low Flow, High Pressure (up to 310 bar MEOP); · Low Flow, Low Pressure (up to 2 bar MEOP). The procurement of the Latch Valves will be conducted in line with the ESA Best Practices for the Selection of Subcontractors by Prime Contractors in the frame of ESAs Major Procurements. Additional requirements on geo-return may be specified in the ITT data package. it is furthermore intended to extend the present ITT to individual companies in the US as further specified in the geographic return requirements of the ITT cover letter.Read more Tender Link : https://esastar-publication-ext.sso.esa.int/nonEsaTenderActions/filter/open
