Tenders are invited for Advanced L-Band Biomass Inversion (Albi) Processor (Rose-L l2 Forest Processor) - Expro+ The Radar Observing System for Europe - L-Band (ROSE-L) is being developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) as part of the Copernicus Expansion (COPEX) missions and will fill the need for L-band SAR data for Land Monitoring, Emergency Management, Marine Environment Monitoring and Security Services. One of ROSE-L objectives is to provide continuity of current observations in order to establish long and reliable time series of measurements. This includes, e.g., the provision of Level-2 Forest data (like above ground biomass density) that does not exist currently in the portfolio of Copernicus products. To support this goal, this activity aims to prototype and develop the ROSE-L L2 Forest processor. The activity will be divided in two phases. The first phase is dedicated to the consolidation of algorithms and product performances, definition of the calibration and validation approach and prototyping activities. The second phase is mainly dedicated to the evolution of the prototype into the operational processor, and it also includes the consolidation of Calibration/Validation approach, and support to the potential integration in the ground segment.Read more Tender Link : https://esastar-publication-ext.sso.esa.int/ESATenderActions/filter/open
