Tampere University Of Applied Sciences (Tamk) Intends To Procure A Laser Ded / Wlam Metal Wire 3D Printing Head For Research And Educational Purposes Within The Dino Invest Project. The System Will Primarily Be Used For Additive Manufacturing Applications Utilizing An Industrial Robot As The Motion Platform.The Equipment Will Enable Wire-Laser Directed Energy Deposition (Ded) Of Metal Materials, Supporting Advanced Research, Development, And Teaching In Metal Additive Manufacturing. The System Is Expected To Include The Printing Head With Integrated Lasers, Active Water Cooling, Relevant Software For Process Configuration And Path Programming, And Necessary Digital And Analog Interfaces For Integration With Tamk’S Existing Robotics And Automation Systems.The Procurement Also Includes Installation, Commissioning, And User Training At Tamk’S Facilities In Tampere. An Optional Feature For Dual-Wire Feed Capability May Be Considered For Experiments Involving Multi-Material Printing.The Equipment Will Be Delivered And Installed At Tampere University Of Applied Sciences, Kuntokatu 3, 33520 Tampere, Finland. The Target Delivery And Commissioning Period Is By The End Of 2025.
