Descriptionoslo Municipality At The Urban Environment Agency (Hereafter Referred To As The Contracting Authority) Invites A Competition With Negotiation In Connection With The Acquisition Of A Contract For Operation And Maintenance Of The Road Network In The Oslo North Area. The Client Has Management Responsibility For The Municipal Road Network, Including The Standardized County Road Network. The Client Is Responsible For Following Up On Requirements For Noise And Air Pollution From The Road Given In Regulations To The Pollution Act. Furthermore, The Client Is Responsible For Long-Term Transport Planning, Traffic And Street Use Plans, Traffic Safety And Plans For Accessibility Measures For Public Transport As Well As The Management And Operation Of Municipal Urban Spaces In Oslo. The Urban Space Includes Common Areas Such As Roads And Streets, Squares And Meeting Places, Parks And Open Spaces. The Area Of Responsibility Also Includes Municipal Sports Facilities And Outdoor Facilities, As Well As Municipal Landscape Spaces In The Fields And Inner Oslofjord. An Important Part Of The Management Responsibility Is Linked To The Procurement Of Services Within The Operation And Maintenance Of The Road Network To Ensure Good Conditions For All Groups Of Road Users. The Procurement Must Ensure The Performance Of Services And Activities That Are Necessary On The Road Network For Traffic To Arrive In A Safe And Efficient Manner. There Is An Ongoing Need For The Operation And Maintenance Of Roads, Pavements, Pedestrian And Cycle Paths, And Hiking Trails Throughout Oslo Municipality. This Procurement Will Cover Operation And Maintenance In The Oslo North Area. The Contract Work Includes, Among Other Things, Emptying Sand Traps, Patching Asphalt Holes, Cleaning And Sweeping, Snow Plowing, Snow Removal, Littering, Waste Emptying At Bus Stops As Well As Edge Mowing And Grass Cutting In Central Concessions. Minor Maintenance Work, Such As Replacement Of Kerbstones, Repair Of Damaged Or Worn Speed Bumps And Replacement Of Damaged Drains Are Part Of The Contract Work. Smaller Investment Measures Can Also Be Included In The Contract Work. The Work Can, For Example, Be Cross Tightening, Creation Of New Speed Bumps, Pruning Along Pavements, Upgrading/Asphalting/Maintaining Stretches Of Footpath And Cycle Path. In That Case, These Works Will Be Carried Out As Billable Work. The Contract Is Not Exclusive When It Comes To Accounting Work.
