Tenders are invited for Terms of Reference (Tor) for Training Vegetable Farmers Groups in Juba County-Luri and Rejaf Payam. 1. Objective of the training The overall objective of this consultancy is to build the capacity of vegetable farmer groups in Juba County on financial literacy, bookkeeping, and farm record keeping, with the aim of improving their financial management and promoting farming as a business. Specific Objectives To train farmers on basic financial literacy and money management principles. To equip farmers with practical skills in record keeping and simple bookkeeping systems. To enhance farmers understanding of farming as a business and improve decision-making based on records and profitability. To promote savings culture and collective financial discipline among the groups. 2. Scope of Work The consultant/firm will: 1. Develop a training plan and materials tailored to the literacy levels and needs of the farmer groups. 2. Conduct 12 rounds of training sessions, each lasting 3 days per group, covering the four vegetable farmers group. 3. Deliver practical, participatory training sessions focusing on financial literacy and household budgeting, basic bookkeeping and record-keeping for farm activities, understanding costs and profits in vegetable farming and savings, group financial management, and marketing linkages 4. Provide pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge improvement. 5. Prepare and submit a detailed training report including key outcomes, challenges, and recommendations. 3.Expected Deliverables Training curriculum and materials approved by Oxfam before training commences. Successful delivery of 12 training rounds (3 days per group). Attendance records, training photos, and evaluation summaries for each group.
