Description Of Exploratory Drilling For Deep Geothermal Energy Stadtwerke Duisburg Ag Is Planning To Drill An Exploratory Drilling In The Immediate Vicinity Of Its Headquarters To Determine Deep Geothermal Potential. The Plan Is To Sink A Vertical Borehole To A Depth Of Up To Approx. 4,200 M In Order To Open Up And Test The Potentially Geothermally Usable Coal Limestone And Bulk Limestone Formations. If Successful, After An Intermediate 3D Seismic Survey, A Deflection Of The Vertical Drilling Into The Coal Limestone Or Into The Bulk Limestone In The Area Of A Fault Zone Is Planned. A Concept Study (Preliminary Planning) Has Already Been Created For This Approach. 2. Task: Planning Services For Deep Drilling Stadtwerke Duisburg Is Looking For A Drilling Planner Who Will Create An Implementation Plan Based On The Concept Study, Support Stadtwerke Duisburg In The Tendering And Awarding Of The Executing Trades And The Official Approval Process, And Supervise The Execution Of The Drilling And Testing Work. The Drilling Planner Should Cover The Scope Of Services Described Roughly Below: - Official Approval Management - Drilling Site Construction - Geological Drilling Support (Including Well Site Geology) - Borehole Geophysics - Drilling Technology - Hydraulic Testing - Seismological Monitoring A Funding Application Is Submitted For The Drilling In Accordance With The Geothermal Energy Master Plan Of The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Associated Project Outline Has Already Been Recognized As Suitable By The Responsible Body. The Funding Program Is Limited In Time, Which Results In A Binding End Date For The Measure. The Drilling, Including Complete Documentation, Should Be Completed By June 30, 2028 If Possible, And August 31, 2028 At The Latest. It Is Assumed That Planning Work Will Begin By March 1, 2026 At The Latest.
