Tenders are invited for Pitching Training - ACT Smart Innovation Hub. Context & Background: Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. Through the Clyntech Accelerator Program, startups receive support to develop their Minimum Viable Product, test it with early adopters, and build their capacity to establish their business from marketing, financial, management and operational levels. The Program aims to contribute to job creation and sustainable economic development while advancing the Lebanese entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Clyntech Accelerator Programs mission is to nurture and grow proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics: An innovation with scientific or technological focus in the Cleantech sector. The possibility to scale beyond the local market The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally Scope of work The Accelerator Program under ACT Smart seeks a Pitching Trainer to deliver training and one on one sessions covering two components: Component 1: The power of Body language and the art of storytelling Develop and deliver a workshop about Body language and storytelling (in-person) for up to 13 startups in addition to one-on-one sessions to: Introduce startups to essential presentation skills, including body language, gestures, eye contact, posture, tone of voice, message delivery, and engaging stakeholders during pitches. Emphasize the impact of non-verbal communication on audience perception and credibility. Provide techniques for managing anxiety and staying focused during pitching and Q&A sessions. Guide entrepreneurs in effective storytelling to boost engagement and emotional connection with their audience. Train startups to structure their pitch narratives clearly (beginning, middle, and end) for maximum impact. Help entrepreneurs leverage body language to enhance credibility and confidence when presenting to clients or investors. Support them in improving their confidence, charisma, and connection with their target audience. Through interactive exercises, role-playing, and peer feedback, attendees will practice integrating body language with storytelling to create impactful presentations, ultimately equipping them with the skills to communicate their ideas with confidence and persuasion. Component 2: How to Build a Winning Pitch Deck Plan and deliver a dynamic workshop (in-person) about How to build a winning pitch deck. followed by one-on-one sessions to: Advise startups on structuring, content, and design to effectively convey key information tailored to their target audience. Help startups develop a compelling story brand for their venture. Guide startups in creating a clear, impactful pitch deck, covering essential components such as the problem, solution, market opportunity, business model, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategy, financial projections, and the team. Train entrepreneurs to highlight traction and key milestones to validate their progress and vision. Coach entrepreneurs on delivering a 3-minute pitch using visual aids (PowerPoint pitch deck). Train entrepreneurs to master a 60-second elevator pitch without visual aids. Provide guidance on presenting the unique value proposition and aligning the message with the needs of investors or partners. Equip startups for post-pitch Q&A by improving their communication techniques, helping them articulate responses confidently, handle tough questions, and develop follow-up strategies. Expected Deliverables Deliver a full day Body Language and storytelling workshop (In-person) Deliver a half day workshop on How to Build a Winning Pitch Deck (In-person) One finalized pitch deck for each startup to be ready by end of component (total of up to 13 pitch decks)[LE1] One elevator pitch deck for each startup to be ready by end of component (total of up to 13 elevator pitch decks) Deliver up to 5 one-on-one sessions for up to 13 startups (up to 65 sessions in total). The duration of each session is 45 mins. Qualifications Experienced in delivering the aforementioned training and mentorship A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience Demonstratable knowledge of the various fields related to pitching including but not limited to: Body Language, Storytelling, Public Speaking, Negotiation Skills, Graphic Design Knowledge in business development is a plus Effective communicator with any audience in an organized, professional manner.
