Project Descriptionthe Work Is Located At Maxwell Lake On Salt Spring Island, Southwest Of The Town Of Ganges. Theisland Is Accessible Via Regular Ferry And Float Plane Services From Vancouver Island And The Lowermainland.The Work Generally Comprises Of The Following Major Components:• Construction Of A Dissolved Air Flotation (Daf) Water Treatment Plant;• Associated Civil Site Works And Drying Beds;• Installation Of Hdpe Water Mains For Raw And Treated Water;• Construction Of Reinforced Concrete Clearwell And Backwash Water Tanks;• Installation Of Electrical, Instrumentation, And Controls System;• Construction Of Rock Jetty, In-Lake Piping, And Installation Of A Floating Pumpstation;• Upgrade For Shepard Hill Prv Station; And• Testing And Commissioning Of The Completed Water Treatment Plant Facility.
