The Regional Directorate Of Roads Requires Contracting The Indigenous Consultation Service, To Be Applied Separately To Two Projects: A Improvement Of The Intermediate Basic Road Puerto Saavedra-Pichichelle-Malalhue, Commune Of Saavedra, Region Of La Araucanía; And B Improvement Of South And West Intermediate Basic Roads, Araucanía Region: Afunalhue-Caracoles-Challupen Road. And, Within The Same Indigenous Consultation Service, It Will Also Include The Associated Product: “Environmental Relevance Report”, For Both Projects And Separately. The Foregoing In Order To Comply With Ilo Convention 169, Which In Its Art. 6 Establishes The Duty Of Consultation With Indigenous Peoples - Every Time Legislative Or Administrative Measures Are Contemplated That May Directly Affect Them. This Indigenous Consultation For Both Projects Will Be Carried Out Through The Procedures Established In Decree No. 66 Of The Ministry Of Social Development And Family. Likewise, The Associated Product Corresponds To Generating An Environmental Relevance Report For Immediate Presentation Of The Project To Sea Araucanía.
