Tenders are invited for STOOS - Trainers & Experts in Livelihoods, Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship- Syria Closing Date: 31 Oct 2025 Type: Consultancy Themes: Gender/Health/Recovery and Reconstruction Introduction STOOS Consulting seeks Syria-based trainers/experts to provide conflict-sensitive, market-aligned training that supports women, youth, farmers, VSLAs, and MSMEs to stabilize and grow their livelihoods. Description of the Tasks Conduct needs assessments and light value-chain analyses to prioritize high-potential sectors. Develop Arabic curricula and trainer guides aligned to competency standards and local realities. Deliver interactive training with low-tech and no-tech options suitable for humanitarian settings. Provide post-course mentoring (business coaching, job matching, growth planning). Strengthen VSLA governance, loan cycle management, and crisis-resilient practices. Integrate financial literacy, digital readiness, and market linkages. Apply pre/post assessments, skills demonstrations, and trainee tracking. Produce evidence-based reports including risks, mitigation, and practical next steps. Coordinate with local NGOs/CSOs, chambers, producers groups, and buyers. Required Skills & Qualifications Residence in Syria; Arabic fluency. Degree/TVET in relevant technical fields; 5+ years of training and coaching in humanitarian/early-recovery contexts. Proven curriculum/toolkit development; strong facilitation and community engagement. Experience with safeguarding, Do No Harm, protection mainstreaming, and inclusive pedagogy. Competency in basic MEL, data capture, and adaptive course improvement.
