Action Against Hunger is a non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational and non-profit organization, established in France in 1979. Action Against Hungers vocation is to save lives by combating hunger, diseases, and other crises threatening the lives of helpless men, women and children. Action Against Hunger opened a mission in Lebanon in August 2006. The following outlines key communications tasks and deliverables related to the consultancy titled Agricultural Infrastructure Assessment and Value Chain Identification in South, Nabatieh, Bekaa and Baalbek Governorates. These points are not exhaustive and should be read in conjunction with the full Terms of Reference document for further clarification and context. 1. Key Tasks: Produce one documentary-style video (23 minutes) showcasing the infrastructure assessment process, including field visits, interviews with local authorities, and the importance of rehabilitating communal agricultural assets (e.g., irrigation channels, agricultural roads, water collection units). Produce one video (23 minutes) highlighting the value chain assessment process, including interviews with farmers, cooperatives, and private sector actors, and explaining the GIZ/ILO methodology used. Create four short social media videos (12 minutes each) in Arabic with English subtitles: One on infrastructure mapping and prioritization, One on gender-sensitive analysis in value chain selection, One on stakeholder engagement (KIIs and FGDs), One summarizing the final recommendations and expected impact. Design and produce a factsheet summarizing the methodology, key findings, and recommendations from both assessments (in English, Arabic, and French). Design a visual infographic illustrating the GIZ/ILO value chain selection framework and how it was applied in Lebanon. Coordinate with field teams and technical consultants to gather photos, quotes, and human-interest stories from the assessment process. Manage dissemination of all communications outputs across ACF platforms and ensure alignment with donor visibility requirements. 2. Objective of the Consultancy: To document and communicate the process and findings of the agricultural infrastructure and value chain assessments, ensuring visibility of ACFs efforts and donor support. All deliverables must be completed within six weeks, starting from the contract signing date. 3. Deliverables: Two 23-minute videos (infrastructure & value chain assessments). Four short social media videos (12 minutes each). One factsheet (2 pages, trilingual). One infographic (digital format). A photo and quote bank from field visits. Dissemination plan and execution report. 4. Consultant Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in media and communications, with a focus on humanitarian or development sectors. Proven experience in video production, graphic design, and storytelling. Familiarity with Adobe Suite, Canva, and GIS visualization tools. Strong coordination and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Experience working in Lebanon or similar contexts is preferred. 5. Evaluation of Application: Applications will be evaluated based on: Technical proposal (methodology, experience, team composition). Financial proposal (realistic and detailed budget).
