Separate, Sealed Bids Will Be Received For Furnishing All Materials, Labor, Tools, Equipment, And Incidentals Necessary For The Installation Of The Fy 2025 Local Road Administration Assistance, Drainage Improvements At 11 Locations, In Clinch County Georgia Until 10:00Am (Local Time), Thursday, October 23, 2025, At Which Time Bids Will Be Opened And Read.The Meeting Will Be Held At The Clinch County Board Of Commissioners¿ Office And Will Be Open To The Public. Proposals Can Be Mailed To The Attention Of Jaclyn James, County Administrator For The Clinch County Board Of Commissioners, 22 Court Square, Suite B Homerville, Georgia 31634. Proposals Received After The Designated Time Will Not Be Considered. Clinch County Board Of Commissioners May Select A Successful Low Bidder After Evaluation Of All Bids. The Scope Of Work Includes:Cross Drainpipe Replacement & Roadway Patching On Dickerson Crossing Rd, Barney Rd, Burnt Bridge Rd, Strickland Rd, Fire Tower Rd, Chauncey Rd, Withers Rd, & Antioch Rd. All Proposals Shall Be Accompanied By A Bid Bond In Favor Of The Clinch County Board Of Commissioners In The Amount Of At Least Five Percent (5%) Of The Lump Sum Bid For The Complete Work: Such Bid Bond Representing That The Bidder, If Awarded A Contract, Will Promptly Enter Into A Contract And Furnish Performance Bond And Payment Bonds As Provided By The Law And Approved By The Attorney For The Clinch County Board Of Commissioners. Performance Bond Shall Be Equal To 100 Percent (100%) Of The Contract Amount And Payment Bond Shall Be Equal To 100 Percent (100%) Of The Contract Amount. The Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited To The Clinch Board Of Commissioners As Liquidated Damages If The Bidder Fails To Execute The Contract And Provide Performance And Payment Bonds Within (10) Days After Being Notified That He Has Been Awarded The Contract.All Work On The Project Must Be Completed Within 180 Consecutive Calendar Days Of Date Work Begins.
