The Subject Of The Tender Is The Procurement, Implementation, Operational Handover And Subsequent Operation Of A Highly Available, Scalable And Cyber-Resilient Backup And Recovery Solution In The Form Of An Integrated Appliance With Appropriate Software Including Other Associated Services. The Solution Must Meet The Current Requirements For Data Security, Cyber Resilience And Disaster Recovery As Well As Take Future Expansions And Integration Options Into Account And Fit Into The Mvhs It Landscape. The Order Includes In Particular: 1. Delivery Of One Or More Appliances With Suitable Backup And Restore Software, Including All Necessary Licenses. 2. Installation, Configuration And Commissioning Of The Overall Solution On Site, Including Connection To Existing It Infrastructures. 3. Implement Cyber Resilience Mechanisms, E.G. B. Immutable Backups, Air Gap/Logical Air Gap Functionalities And Ransomware Detection. 4. Migration Of Existing Backup Data As Far As Technically Possible Or Creation Of New Backup Jobs For The Entire Environment After Consultation With The Client. 5. Set Up Automated Recovery Tests To Ensure Data Integrity And Functionality. 6. Documentation Of The Solution, Including Operational, Recovery And Security Concepts. 7. Training Administrator Staff To Operate And Manage The Solution. 8. Contractor Taking Over The Operation Of The Backup And Restore Environment, Including: (A) Performing And Monitoring All Backup And Restore Jobs In Accordance With The Agreed Backup Plan, (B) Proactively Monitoring System Performance, Capacity Planning And Troubleshooting, (C) Conducting Regular Test Restores And Functional Checks, (D) Complying With The Agreed Service Agreements, (E) Adjusting Backup Jobs In The Event Of System Or Application Changes (Change Management), (F) Incident Management Including Escalation Processes And Root Cause Analysis In The Event Of Disruptions, (G) Monthly Reporting On Backup And Restore Status, Errors, Trends And Optimization Potential.
