Tenders are invited for Retrofitting 66kv Feeder Protection Panel at Etd Primary Substations Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: The objective of this project is retrofit 66 kV Feeder outdated protection Panel Relays in ETD 66kV Substations. Mentioned substations are electromechanical and static pilot wires-based relays and those relays with the associated accessories are in service for more than 20-40 years and subjected for replacement. The normal life of a protection relay is from 15 to 20 years, following are some major justification points: More often to mal-operates Communications error and hardware failure Unavailability of spares and overpriced Aged, outdated and black-listed Poor performance This upgrade aims to enhance the safety, reliability, and performance of our electrical system. The scope of work includes the removal of obsolete protection relays, installation of new state of the art protection relays, and ensuring seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.
