Tenders are invited for Provision of Soiled Linen Cleaning Service for the Year 2025/2026 Interested qualified bidders can obtain further details from the Accountant of the National Blood Transfusion Service (Tel. No. 0112368585) and can inspect the bid documents at the address stated below, on any working day, between 09.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs, from 06.10.2025 up to 27.10.2025 free of charge. A complete set of bid documents prepared in English can be purchased by prospective bidders from 16.10.2025 up to 27.10.2025 on any working day between 09.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000.00 and submission of a written request made to the National Blood Transfusion Service at Narahenpita. Payments should be made only by cash. Sealed bids could either be sent by Registered Post addressed to Chairman, Procurement Committee, National Blood Center, Colombo 05 or placed in the Tender Box kept in the National Blood Center, Narahenpita, Colombo 05 to be received at or before 10.00 hrs on 27.10.2025. Bids received late will be rejected. Bids received will be opened at 11.00 a.m., same day, at the above stated address in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend. Bids should be valid up to 31.12.2025. All the bids should be accompanied with a Bid Security on the format stated in the Bid Documents, obtained from a commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka and approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, drawn in favour of the Director of the National Blood Transfusion Service, Narahenpita, Colombo 05, valid up to 31.12.2025 and valued for Rs. 6000.00 or else, the value can be paid by cash to the Shroff of the National Blood Center. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 22.10.2025 at the address stated below.
