Providing Homeless Dogs Caught From The Gołdap Commune With Care In A Shelter, In Accordance With Applicable Regulations, Including Appropriate Veterinary Care In Necessary Cases, Consisting In Particular In Providing The Animals With: - Rooms Or Boxes So That They Can Move Freely, Protecting Them Against Cold, Heat And Precipitation, - Proper Treatment And Food For The Animals In A Manner Consisting In Providing A Daily Portion Of Drinking Water And Food That Will Correspond To The Nutritional Needs Of The Individual, In Accordance With The Applicable Rules In This Matter, - Separating Rooms For Aggressive Dogs, Newly Arrived Dogs (Quarantine Area) And Sick Dogs, - Providing Behavioral Care Focused On Animal Socialization, Individual Exercises With Animals On The Education And Training Ground, Beauty Treatments, Photo Sessions;3. Providing Veterinary Services Such As: Vaccinations, Deworming, Tick Removal, Sterilization, Castration, Treatment Of Sick Animals, Euthanasia Of Blind Litters, Euthanasia Of Animals With No Prospect Of Further Survival After Obtaining The Opinion Of A Veterinarian;4. Taking Actions To Find The Owner And Return Dogs Placed In The Shelter To The Owners, After They Have Documented Their Rights To The Animal;5. Marking The Dog With A Microchip 14 Days After Admitting The Dog To The Shelter;6. Keeping Records Of Admitted And Released Animals (Photographic Documentation, Date, Place Of Catching And Receiving, Information On Whose Behalf The Animal Was Caught, Veterinary Procedures Performed, Microchip Number, Date Of Adoption Or Euthanasia, Adoption Contract, Etc.);7. Taking Actions Aimed At Finding New Owners Who Will Be Able To Provide The Animal With The Best Possible Living Conditions. The Contractor Should Inform Residents About The Shelter And Encourage Them To Adopt Dogs In A Generally Accepted Manner (Media Advertisements, Website, Social Media, Etc.).8.
