Tenders are invited for Urgent definitive anti-erosion works on thirteen (13) erosive sites in the town of Kananga in two separate lots: Lot 1 Abattoire, Kamuandu, Mabondo, Saint Joseph, Ishibashi, Musumbo 1 and Musumbo 2 sites; Lot 2 Kanyuka, Mamu wa Carmel, Regideso, Singal, EFO, Brasserie-Hygiène, RVA 1 and RVA 2 1. The Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has obtained a loan from the World Bank to finance the cost of the Kananga Emergency and Urban Resilience Project PURUK and intends to use part of the sums granted under this financing to make the payments planned under the contracts Urgent final works for erosion control on thirteen (13) erosion sites in the city of Kananga in two separate lots: Lot 1 sites Abattoire, Kamuandu, Mabondo, Saint Joseph, Tshibashi and Musumbo 1 and 2; Lot 2 sites Kanyuka, Mamu wa Carmel, Regideso, Signal, EFO, Brasserie-Hygiène, RVA1 and RVA 2. Bidders may bid for one or both lots, as defined in the Invitation to Tender Document. Bidders wishing to offer a discount for the award of more than one contract will be permitted to do so, provided such discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. For this contract, the Borrower will use the disbursement method entitled Direct Payment for payments, as defined in the World Bank Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing (IPF). 2. The Kananga Urban Emergency and Resilience Project Management Unit UG-PURUK hereby invites Bidders to submit their Tenders in sealed envelopes for the construction of gutters, culverts, accumulation chambers or drains, gabion dams and dissipation outlets in Kananga town, Kasai Central Province in the DRC for one year (2025-2026). 3. The procedure will be conducted by international competition using a Call for Bids as defined in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for REIT Borrowers Seventh Edition September 2025 the Procurement Regulations ), and open to all Bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process defined in the tender documents. The following weightings will apply to the Rated Criteria (including technical and non-price factors): Fifty (50%) and for the cost of the Bid: Fifty percent (50%). 5. The outer envelopes of the Bid marked "ORIGINAL OF THE BID", and the inner envelopes marked "TECHNICAL PART" will be opened in the presence of the Bidders representatives and any person who wishes to attend the opening of the bids at the address indicated below, on 03 November 2025 at 2:15 p.m. Kananga local time (UT+2). All envelopes marked "FINANCIAL PART" will remain unopened and will be kept in a safe place by the Contracting Authority until the second public opening of the Bids. 8.
