Egedal Municipality Hereby Offers A Contract Regarding The Collection And Transport Of The Recyclable Waste Fractions. The Contract Lasts For 6 Years With The Possibility Of Extension On Unchanged Terms For Up To 2 Times 12 Months. The Contract Comes Into Force On October 1, 2026 And Expires Without Further Notice On September 30, 2032. If Egedal Municipality Uses The Options, The Contract Will Last For 8 Years. The Assignment Covers The Collection Of Plastic, Food And Beverages Cartons, Paper, Metal, Glass, Parcel Municipality Is An Elongated Municipality Of 126 Km2 With Approx. 19,500 Households, Of Which Approx. 860 Is Located In The Land Zone. The Municipality Consists Of Several Larger Or Smaller Urban Communities And Scattered Buildings In The Country And Urban Zone. The Benefit Currently Includes: • Ca. 45,000 Inhabitants • Ca. 13,000 Households With Individual Scheme, Of Which Approx. 860 Country Properties • Ca. 2,400 Households With Common Waste Solution (Environmental Island) • Ca. 4,400 Households With Common Waste Solution. Buried Cube Where Only Cardboard Is Emptied • Ca. 320 Cottage Grounds • Ca. 120 Municipal Institutions • Ca. 100 Smaller Commercials Are Approx. 500 Registered Holiday Homes In Egedal. The Cottages Are Included In The Approx. 13,000 Households With Individual Scheme And The Waste Are Collected As Other Households With Individual Scheme. There Will Be Some Other Addresses That Have Similar Conditions As In The Cottage Area. Municipal Institutions Include Schools, Childrens Homes, Sports Halls Cultural Institutions, Etc., With The Adoption Of Regulations For Commercial Waste, Established A Scheme For Smaller Businesses. The Scheme Starts Up October 2025. Overall, Egedal Municipality Expects Up To 100 Companies To Sign Up For The Scheme.
