Quotation are invited for Appointment of a Service Provider to Provide Catering at Famm for a Period of 3 Years as and when Required at a Rate Base Contract Scope of Work/Specification Each standard meal must include the following unless otherwise specified: 1.3.1 Protein (Meat) Minimum of 2 meat options per meal, including: Beef (stewed, grilled, minced, or roasted) Chicken (grilled, fried, roasted, or curried) Fish (grilled or fried, bone-free preferred) Pork Lamb Vegetarian or vegan protein substitutes must be available (e.g., lentils, tofu, soy-based products) .3.2 Starch At least one starch option per meal: Rice (white, brown, fried rice) Pasta (plain, spiced, or with sauce) Potatoes (mashed, wedges, fries, or roasted) Pap 1.3.3 Salad One fresh salad per meal from the following: Garden salad Coleslaw Beetroot salad Mixed bean salad Or any salad 1.3.4 Takeaway Options The catering service provider must also supply takeaway meals suitable for individuals who prefer grab-and-go options. These meals must be: Pre-packaged in hygienic, leak-proof, disposable containers Clearly labeled with contents and date Available in both hot and cold formats 1.3.5 Takeaway Meal Examples: Chicken wraps or beef burgers with fries Rice with chicken strips or meatballs Pasta pots with chicken or vegetables Baked potato with fillings (e.g., cheese, beans, or minced meat) Fresh sandwiches and rolls with protein fillings Pizza : Medium (2325 cm) and Large (3035 cm) Chicken ( quarter,half and full )with chips 1.3.6 soft drinks & juices 300ml coca cola coke or equivalent 2L bottle Coca-Cola coke or equivalen 330ml Liquifruit Orange Juice or equivalent 1L Liquifruit orange Juice or equivalent 1.4. Validity Period 1.4.1. The proposal provided to ATNS in terms of this request for quotations will be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of submission except for the Tax and B-BBEE certificates which must still be valid at the time of award. 1.4.2. Should there be a need to request extension of the finalisation of the award of the RFQ, the bidders will be duly informed, and the priced proposal will remain valid for the amended duration. 1.5.
