The mission aims to develop a teaching policy for preschool and basic education in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in order to contribute to the achievement of the objectives set out in the 2024-2029 five-year plan and the 2016-2025 sectoral strategy. This policy must respond to the specific needs of the Congolese education system, taking into account ongoing reforms and priority challenges. It must also incorporate innovative approaches to strengthen teachers digital skills and promote gender equity. The implementation of the action plan is scheduled to begin in September 2025.
