Heat (Hostile Environment Awareness Training) Is Required For Staff Who May Be Deployed To Or Work In High-Risk Or Insecure Environments. The Training Should Be Risk-Based, Practical, And Tailored To Ngo Operational Contexts. It Should Provide Staff With The Awareness, Skills, And Confidence To Operate Safely In Difficult Environments. The Focus Should Be On Realism And Relevance, But Without Reliance On Highly Immersive Or Triggering Simulations.
