Aalto University School Of Chemical Engineering Is Setting Up A Biodegradation Laboratory To Understand And Quantify The Processes By Which Natural Or Engineered Materials Are Degraded Or Decomposed By Microorganisms And Other Biological Agents. This Information Is Needed To Develop Biodegradable-By-Design Materials, Develop New Analytical Techniques, Propose New Methodologies To Assess Materials Biodegradability And To Develop “Living” Materials. This Procurement Includes The Following Mandatory Equipment: High-Speed Centrifuge, Shaking Incubator And Two Benchtop High-Speed Microcentrifuges, As Well As The Following Optional Equipment: Ultra-Low Temperature Chest Freezer, Micropipettes, Electronic Pipette Controllers And Multichannel Pipettes.Please, See Annex 1 For Requirement Specifications For The Equipment.
