The Contractor (An) Provides Contributions To Outputs 1, 2, 3, 4 And 5 Of The Project Through The Provision Of Specialized Subject Expertise As Well As Advisory And Training Services And Thus Contributes To Achieving The Indicators Of The Project. The Prosperblue Project- Formerly Western Indian Ocean Governance Initiative (Wiogi), Aims At Strengthening The Community Contributions Relevant To The Community At Regional And Local Level For The Preservation And Sustainable Use Of Marine And Coastal Biodiversity In The Context Of An Inclusive And Sustainable Blue Economy In The Wio Region. The Focus Is On The Qualification Of A Large Number Of Actors At Regional And Local Level, Through Resources, Technical Expertise, Political Interventions, Knowledge Management, Business Practices And Collective Action. Output 1 Aims To Strengthen The Technical And Institutional Capacity Of Regional And Local Actors For Cooperation In The Preservation And Sustainable Use Of Biological Diversity In Marine And Coastal Areas As Part Of An Isbe And The Exchange Of Knowledge. At The Regional Level, The Project Supports The Nairobi Convention Secretariat To Work With Public, Private And Civil Society Actors By Taking Over The Secretarial Function For Multi-Stakeholder Initiative Our Blue Future And Promoting Their Integration Into The Resulting Cooperation Structures And National Platforms. The An Supports The Project In Carrying Out Technical And Institutional Reviews And Gap Analyzes Of The Actors In Order To Determine The Need For A Governance Oriented Towards Isbe, As Well As In The Capacity Development Of Regional And Local Players.
