Tenders are invited for Communication and Visibility Services Terre des hommes (Tdh) has been present in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) since 1973, with offices in Jerusalem and Gaza since 1984. Tdh focuses on improving the lives of vulnerable children and families through programs in child protection, education, WASH, health, and emergency response. In the current humanitarian context, communication and visibility are critical for ensuring the voices of affected children and families are amplified, donor obligations are respected, and advocacy objectives are advanced. The delegation requires specialized consultancy support that combines child protection expertise, contextual knowledge of Gaza and the West Bank, and advanced communication skills. Objective of the Assignment The consultancy will strengthen the oPt delegations communication and visibility capacities by: · Leading the development and implementation of overall and project communication strategies and content plans. · Ensuring donor-compliant, child-sensitive, and impactful communication materials are in place across multiple projects. · Coordinating closely with HQ and regional offices on advocacy campaigns, publications, and media outputs related to Gaza and the West Bank. · Building the capacity of staff and partners on safeguarding and ethical communication practices. Scope of Work The consultant will undertake the following tasks: Strategic Communication & Planning · Lead strategic communication and visibility for multi-sectoral humanitarian and development projects (protection, education, WASH, MHPSS, cash assistance). · Develop and implement delegation-wide communication and visibility plans, tailored to donor specifications and aligned with Tdhs global strategy. · Spearhead the development of new communication channels (newsletter, LinkedIn, Instagram) to expand outreach and stakeholder engagement. · Advise on risk-sensitive branding and visibility practices, particularly for Gaza operations. Project Communication & Donor Visibility · Manage donor visibility deliverables across projects. · Produce high-quality donor-compliant content, including one-pagers, newsletters, success stories, advocacy briefs, and social media content. · Coordinate with program teams to ensure communication is integrated into project design and implementation. · Oversee the production and dissemination of creative content (photography, videos, animations, brochures, CFRM and safeguarding materials). Advocacy & External Communication · Coordinate with HQ and regional offices on joint advocacy efforts, humanitarian campaigns, and publications. · Provide communication expertise and content inputs on Gaza, West Bank, and Jerusalem for advocacy products. · Contribute to joint statements, advocacy snapshots, and campaigns with partners, ensuring coherent and accurate messaging. Capacity Building & Safeguarding · Deliver training for staff and partners on ethical content collection, safeguarding, and donor visibility. · Develop and disseminate safeguarding and communication materials (including posters, toolkits, and templates). · Establish systems for proofreading, reviewing, and standardizing success stories and donor reports. · Ensure all communication outputs amplify childrens voices while respecting ethical and protection standards.
