The Equipment Will Replace Existing Automated Systems That Are Currently Used At Aarhus University Hospital In The Following Departments. • The Department Of Blood Tests And Biochemistry Department Today Uses A System For Automated Purification Of Nucleic Acids From Blood Tests As Well As An Integrated System For Setting Up Molecular Biological Assays. The Systems Handle Approx. 15,000 Blood Tests Annually. The Purification Is A Critical Part Of The Laboratorys Workflow, While The Pipeting Module Is Used To Set Up Analyzes Within Highly Specialized Functions And Regional Functions. • The Department Of Blood Bank And Immunology The Department Uses An Automated System For Purification Of Nucleic Acids From Blood Tests, Which Are Further Used For Genomic Blood Type Determination And Tissue Type Determination. The System Handles Over 5,000 Samples Annually And Is Included In Critical Workflows, Including With Significance For Prophylactic Treatments And Disease Investigation.
