The Procurement Includes Solutions For Self-Service, Handling Of Reserved Materials, Rfid-Based Inventory, Integration With Ex Libris Alma, And Digital Interfaces For Patron Interaction. The Astra Library Will Function As A Course Book Library With An Emphasis On Self-Service. Operating In An Open And Modern Environment, It Requires Flexible And Reliable Technology That Supports Independent Access And Efficient Workflows. -Acquire Modern And Scalable Technical Solutions That Support The Library’S Operations And Future Development. -Ensure Compatibility With Existing Library Systems. - Enable Efficient Management Of Collections, Reserved Materials, And Self-Service Functions, With A Focus On Usability And Accessibility. -Strengthen Operational Reliability And Enable Centralized Monitoring And Administration Of Equipment. -Provide Cost-Effective, Sustainable, And Adaptable Solutions That Fit The Physical Layout And Service Model Of The Library. The Client Is Requesting Tenders For Library Technology, Including Installation, Configuration, And Training For The New Open Course Book Library At Astra. The Procurement Includes The Following Product Types / Technologies (See Appendix 1 For Technical Specifications And Appendix 2 For More Detailed Products And Quantities): -Self-Service Machines For Loans And Returns -Rfid Readers -Hold And Return Locker System -Software & Integration With Existing Library System -Installation & Training -Support Agreement For At Least 4 Years The Installation Of Self-Service Machines And Related Equipment Must Conform To The Physical Layout And Infrastructure Of The Astra Library. Detailed Specifications For Shelf Integration And Spatial Planning Are Provided In Appendix 6 And Appendix 7. The Client Also Reserves The Right To Purchase Additional Units Of The Specified Equipment Under The Same Terms And Conditions Within A Period Of 12 Months From The Signing Of The Contract. This Option Must Be Clearly Stated In The Supplier’S Tender.
