Bids Are Invited For Station Flats Site Redevelopment - Fullerton Loop Connector Trail In Elbow River Provincial Recreation Area

Project Objective: The Objective Of This Project Is To Develop A Trail To Provide A Safe Alternative For Recreational Users Including Hikers, Bikers, Event And Equestrian Users To Connect The Trail Networks Accessible From Station Flats And Fullerton Duas. The New Trail Will Also Support Event Use Including Races And Recreational Organizations.Scope Of Work: Complete Construction Of The Station Flats To Fullerton Connector Trail According To The Attached Drawings And Specifications. The Proposed Trail Is Approximately 1.35 Kilometers (Km) Long And Runs Parallel To Highway 66, Between Station Flats And Fullerton Duas. The Outlined Route Was Selected To Minimize Tree And Brush Clearing And Overall Disturbance. Prior To Requesting The Provinces Inspection For Interim Acceptance, Contractor Shall Complete The Following:1. Construct The Trail In Accordance With The Attached Drawings And Specifications.2. Perform Final Cleaning And Ensure That The Work Is Ready For Use For The Purpose Intended.3. Review Contract Documents And Inspect Work To Confirm That Prerequisites To Interim Acceptance Of Work Have Been Fulfilled And That Work Is Ready For Inspection For Interim Acceptance.4. Submit Project Record Drawings To The Province.
