    Request for proposals for Lets Welcome Glorious Christmas and Coming New Year 2026 in a Grand Scale: Proposed Entertainment and Events for the Programme Join Hands with the Municipal Council to Celebrate the Glorious Christmas and Coming New Year 2026 with Pomp and Grandeur than in Previous Years. Lets Welcome Glorious Christmas and Coming New Year 2026 in a Grand Scale Decorations and Lighting in Roads Christmas Carols: Using meaningful suitable music, singing etc. Christmas Carnival with Cultural activities: Vihara Maha Devi Park premises including Green Path Pavement, Vehicle Parking Yard and adjoining Open Air Theatre are reserved for this purpose. Media Sponsorship: Television, Radio, Print and Social Media channels that could take the festival feeling to the people in an innovative manner may provide their contribution to this programme. Colombo Municipal Council invites the residents of City of Colombo and the entire population of Sri Lanka to join hands with the Municipal Council to celebrate the Glorious Christmas and Coming New Year 2026 with pomp and grandeur than in previous years. Let us awaken our city by lighting the city with colourful decorative bulbs, enjoyable music and conducting various entertaining events. Place : Colombo Town Hall premises, Vihara Maha Devi Park, Green Path and Main Roads in the citv.
