Tenders are invited for Consultant to Conduct Qualitative Data Analysis for the be in a Net Project 2025 The aim of this study is to understand the behaviours, barriers, and facilitators affecting the use of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) in selected areas of Uganda in order to develop a behavioural intervention to increase ITN use. A qualitative data analyst is needed to analyse and write up data collected from the pilot to inform performance of interventions implemented in the small cohort. Applications must be received by Wednesday 24 September 2025 at 17:00 (5pm). Applications submitted after the deadline will NOT be received. 2.1. Purpose of the assignment A qualitative data analyst is needed to analyse and write up data collected from the pilot to inform performance of interventions implemented in the small cohort. 2.2. Specific objectives of the assignment The aim of this study is to understand the behaviours, barriers, and facilitators affecting the use of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) in selected areas of Uganda in order to develop a behavioural intervention to increase ITN use. Research questions: Primary Can each of the two interventions of interest be implemented in a real-life setting and is it acceptable to end users and intermediaries involved in implementation? Secondary What are the obstacles that may negatively affect the adoption and retention of each of the two interventions of interest? What changes are required to adapt the interventions of interest and improve their feasibility and acceptability? What are the rates of use of ITNs in the study population? Objectives: 1. To understand the operational feasibility and acceptability of implementing two different types of behaviourally informed intervention to increase ITN use. 2. To estimate the cost of implementing each of two behaviourally informed interventions to increase ITN use. 2.3. Scope of the assignment Specific components include the of implementation of; i) Data cleaning ii) Data analysis iii) Report writing iv) Dissemination of survey findings 2.4. Responsibilities of Malaria Consortium i) Malaria Consortium will provide the transcribed data ii) Work with consultant to provide data cleaning as and when need iii) Review the preliminary report Tender Link : http://www.malariaconsortium.org/tenders
