External Consultant for Gender-Sensitive Cashew Nut Value Chain Assessment. STRIVE Project Strengthened Technologies and Resources for Indigenous Women in Agriculture SCOPE OF THE WORK Geographical area to be covered: The geographical zone benefitting from the action is in 120 villages, 6 districts in Stung Treng and Ratanakiri province, Cambodia. Please see the Annex 01 for the details project target area. Target Groups: - 7,280 smallholder cashew farmers - 40 women and youth entrepreneurs Specific Tasks & Key Milestone: The service provider will require to engage with Johanniter and the partners (NTFP & BK) for approximately 45 working days. However, the service provider should suggest the total time frame as part of the application process. But specifically, the consultant will be required to undertake the following tasks: Task to be delivered by the consultant Estimated duration to complete 45 days Phase I: Preparation Phase Upon signing of contract, the service provider is expected to produce a detail work plan of the activities to be undertaken and timelines, in line with the ToR. 2 day Desk review: project related document, other existing policies. Tools development, Sample size selection and inception report. 7 days Facilitate a half-day introductory workshop to present the finalized work plan to Johanniter and partners. The workshop shall be online. 1 day Phase II: Field Work and Analysis Implement data collection once the tools are approved by Johanniter 11 days Data analysis 5 days Phase III: Draft Report Submit the draft report to Johanniter for inputs 11 days Facilitate one day consultation meeting to present finding and collect input with Johanniter, and partners. 1 day Phase IV: Finalize Report Adjust the report according to the inputs provided by Johanniter 5 days Finalized and submit the gender-sensitive value chain assessment report to Johanniter for final approval 2 day Interested applicants please send your email applications to [email protected] Queries regarding the consultancy can also be directed to this email address.
