Tenders are invited for Qualitative Research ConsultancyCommunity/Site-Based GESI Assessment The primary objectives are to: Analyze gender roles and relations within community fisheries. Analyze the gender dynamics in inland cooperatives to understand how women far under the cooperative model to draw lessons and recommendations to inform community fisheries that will be managed as cooperatives going forward. Identify barriers faced by women (single women and/or older women or any other specific barriers faced by women of any other identity) in accessing fisheries resources and coastal (mangrove) land and co-governance mangroves land and resources. Provide actionable recommendations to promote gender equality and social inclusion in fisheries management, mangrove governance, and Community fishery land tenure rights. Main Responsibilities The consultant team will be responsible for: Prepare inception report of the assessment including methodology and research/assessment question. Designing data collection tools including In-depth Interview (IDI) and FGD guiding question. Translating tools into local languages. Coordinating travel logistics for fieldwork. Conducting qualitative research to gather data on gender roles, resource access, and decision-making in community fisheries. Engaging diverse stakeholders, including fishers both men and women, community leaders, local authorities, and womens groups. Coordinating with the Landesa-Cambodia team for scheduling and location confirmation of data collection. Ensuring quality control and secure data storage.
