    Quotation are invited for Appointment of a Service Provider to Supply Deliver and Install Motorised Blinds at Atns - Richards Bay (including Removal of Existing Material) 1.3. Scope of Work/Specification 1.3.1. ATNS requires services of 1.3.2. Installation Planning: 1.3.3. Site assessment: evaluate the existing installed blinds and implement best method for uninstalling, removing and disposing of the old blinds. 1.3.4. Evaluate the windows and surrounding areas to figure out the best installation method of automated blinds. 1.3.5. Verify the provided dimensions for all windows on site (Note site briefing date) 1.3.6. Power Source Provision: Provide for all electrical works that will be necessary for the functioning of the blinds as well as provide an electrical COC on completion 1.3.7. Testing: Test the blinds to ensure they operate smoothly and respond well to the remote control. 1.3.8. User Training: Provide the user with instructions on how to use and care for the automated blinds. 1.3.9. Technical Specifications: 1.3.10. The tower window blinds shall be motorised remote-controlled blinds. 1.3.11. The following solar film specifications shall be met: 1.3.12. The solar film shall prevent sunlight from causing glare and 1.3.13.reflections. 1.3.14. The solar film shall not hinder the ATC from seeing outside the Page 5 of 36 1.3.15. window. 1.3.16. The solar film shall allow adequate light to light up the tower control room. 1.3.17. Total solar transmission 43% 1.3.18. Total solar reflection % 10% 1.3.19. Total solar absorption % 48% 1.3.20. Visible light transom 4% 1.3.21. U.V. light transmission 1% 1.3.22. Glare reduction % 96% 1.3.23. Shading coefficient % 0.64 1.3.24. Total solar energy rejects 45% 1.3.25.
